HSS Rehabilitation Internship Program

HSS Rehabilitation and Performance offers a select number of internships designed for students and recent graduates to engage in meaningful, project-based initiatives within Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Performance/Wellness, and Prosthetics/Orthotics, with no direct patient interaction.

Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or preparing for graduate school, this program provides invaluable exposure to innovative practices in rehabilitation and performance. The program’s duration is flexible, tailored to align with the scope and requirements of your specific project.

We’re looking for motivated college students or recent graduates who are:

  • Passionate about rehabilitation, performance, or wellness.
  • Eager to learn and contribute to impactful projects.
  • Interested in developing skills such as:
    Research and data analysis.
    Public speaking and presentation.
    Clinical and operational workflows in rehabilitation settings.

  • NYC Campus(es)
  • Virtual

Internship sessions are offered in the summer. Early submissions are encouraged!

    If applying to PT/OT/Speech school, have you completed your volunteer hours?

    What are your computer skills, and which software programs are you comfortable using?
    Do you have experience with research, literature searches, or data entry?
    What is your preferred timeframe for the internship (spring, summer, or fall)?
