Patient Story of: David Feldbaum

I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in July 2025. By August, the pain and discomfort had forced me to give up nearly all of my regular activities. By November, my hip had deteriorated to the point of being bone-on-bone, and even simple things like walking and sitting had become difficult and painful. I could no longer enjoy the active lifestyle I had always loved.

Fortunately, I underwent a successful hip replacement at HSS with Dr. Alex Anatone. Just three months after surgery, I accomplished something I wasn't sure I'd ever do again—I stepped into the batter’s box for the first time in over a year.

The results have been life-changing. Dr. Anatone gave me the opportunity to return to the activities I enjoy and regain my quality of life. I am incredibly grateful for his skill, expertise, and care throughout the entire process.
