I was an emergency patient as I had just smashed my hip falling on the steps leading from the subway to the street in Manhattan. EMS brought me to HSS at NewYork-Presbyterian as a trauma emergency patient. As a much older person, I have never had a doctor perform surgery with so little pain and a quick recovery to boot.
